Our analyses

A lab report for every product

For each product we keep the analysis report of one batch, available on request. For three products (creatine powder, creatine gummies, omega-3) it is a certificate of conformity that lists the parameters tested, without figures. Here is what the reports measure and how to read them.

What we test

What a report measures

Depending on the product, a report covers one or more of these families of tests.

  • Heavy metals

Lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, in mg per kg of product.

  • Microbiology

Total plate count, yeasts, moulds, E. coli, Enterobacteriaceae and salmonella.

  • Pesticides

For plant extracts, such as chaste tree.

  • Content

For lion's mane gummies, the report measures polysaccharides and beta-glucans per two gummies.

Two laboratories

External labs, in Germany

The reports come from two external laboratories in Germany: PLENUM Dr. Born in Ennepetal and UBF Untersuchungs- und Forschungslaboratorium in Altlandsberg.

  • Ennepetal, Germany

    PLENUM Dr. Born

Analysis results for 15 products: heavy metals and microbiology, pesticides for chasteberry, contents for the lion's mane gummies.

  • Altlandsberg, Germany

    UBF Untersuchungs- und Forschungslaboratorium

Certificates of conformity for 3 products (creatine powder, creatine gummies, omega 3): they list the parameters tested, without figures.

Product by product

The report for each jar

Laboratory, parameters measured and status of each document. Ask for the one you want: we send it by email.

Each report covers one batch, analysed at the manufacturer's request. Your jar may come from a later batch. We update the reports as soon as we receive new ones.

Some reports are sent on request while we wait for the laboratory's permission to publish them. Write to us with the product name and we email you the report.

How to read it

How to read a report

Three things to know before you open a report, and what it does not say.

What does "< 3.0 mg/kg" mean?

A result written “< 3.0 mg/kg” means the lab measured less than 3.0 mg per kg of product.

Which batch was analysed?

When the laboratory states it, the report gives the batch number and its best-before date.

The report is in German: how do I read it?

Reports in German use “Blei” for lead, “Arsen” for arsenic, “Cadmium” for cadmium and “Quecksilber” for mercury.

Does my jar come from the analysed batch?

Each report covers one batch, analysed at the manufacturer's request. Your jar may come from a later batch. We update the reports as soon as we receive new ones, and send them on request.

What is in the lab report?

Heavy metals and microbiology for most products, plus pesticides for plant extracts; for three products it is a certificate of conformity without figures. Each product page says what its document covers. The report concerns one batch and is available on request.
